Watching runway shows from this Spring’s RTW collections, I noticed many trends that carried over from the Fall 09′ runway:

1. Balenciaga: The entire collection integrated zippers & leather with a pop of bright color & many vertical lines.

2. Balmain: Balmain unveiled a sexy military look followed by the continuing metallics trend we’ve been seeing this year.

3. Celine: This designer after 4 years of hiatus came back with a stunning collection. Her runway included many masculine accents and leather also big this fall.

4. Givenchy: Printed psychedelic bottoms and the classic black & white colors were two trends continued into spring also seen this season.

My favorite of the moment: Versace

Versace’s collection reminded me of the clothes I used to dress Barbie in circa early 90s. The pastel colors & giant heels were brilliant and visually captivating. Donatella said she was inspired by Tim Burton’s new movie Alice in Wonderland coming out this year!
