One of the most famous celebrities who dramatically changed their style was Nicole Richie with the help of stylist Rachel Zoe. Reading this month’s Harper’s Bazaar, I was stunned by Drew Barrymore’s two featured ads for Cover Girl. She looks amazing! I know her style has been a progressive evolution over the past 5 years, but I’m still stunned by her continuous improvement. I had an idea for a blog on celebrities I’ve noticed with progressive stylistic improvement:
1. Drew Barrymore
Although her new movie Everybody’s Fine flopped in the box office, I hear her 2 upcoming chick flicks sound promising. She is slowly continuously improving and experimenting with new styles.
2. Kim Kardashian
No, I don’t either understand exactly why or how she is famous, but I have to admit even over 2009 her style has definitely improved. She too is beginning to shed the over emphasized chintzy South Beach look for a more fun feminine vibe – Thank God!

3. Ashley Tisedale
I love how Ashley Tisedale has progressively grown into a fashion-savy adult. From the toddler days in HSM, she is now spotted wearing cute & trendy ensembles loved by all.
4. Kate Bosworth
I personally think Kate Bosworth looks a bit unhealthy however, her style has extremely improved when compared to the breakout Blue Crush movie days in 2002 and she is looking more chic each year.
5. Fergie
I know Fergie is a performer and has to keep up with funky Black Eyed Peas members but I felt she had an issue with differentiating her stage costumes from the red carpet. Overall Fergie looked extremely glamours in 2009 and I feel she will continue to shine.

You’ve touched on my favorite subject : makeovers! It seems it’s as hard for celebrities as it is for us to identify those perfect styles that make us look amazing! Many of us (and them) seem to hang on to our high school look much too long for our own good! One of my favorite makeovers is the Olsen twins back in 06 modelling for Badgley Mischka.
